Shipping policy

Last updated: March 2026 This Shipping Policy applies to orders delivered within India only.


1. Order Processing

All orders are processed and dispatched from our warehouse within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation.

  • Orders placed on weekdays before 5:00 PM are typically dispatched the same day or the next business day
  • Orders placed on Saturday after 5:00 PM or on Sunday are dispatched on Monday
  • Orders placed on public or bank holidays are dispatched on the next working day

You will receive an email and/or SMS confirmation once your order has been dispatched, along with your tracking details.


2. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery timelines begin from the date of dispatch, not the date of order placement.

These are estimated timelines and may vary due to factors outside our control such as high-demand periods, weather conditions, or courier delays.


3. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated based on your delivery location, order weight, and the shipping method selected. The exact shipping fee will be displayed at checkout before you make payment.

  • Free shipping is available on orders above a certain value — check our homepage or checkout page for the current threshold
  • COD (Cash on Delivery) orders may carry an additional handling fee, which will be shown at checkout

4. Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive:

  • An email and SMS with your tracking number and a direct link to the courier's tracking page
  • Updates at key milestones — dispatched, out for delivery, and delivered

5. Our Delivery Partners

We work with India's leading courier partners to ensure reliable and timely delivery:

The courier assigned to your order depends on your delivery location and the most efficient service available at the time of dispatch. We are unable to accommodate requests for a specific courier partner.


6. Inspecting Your Delivery

We strongly advise you to carefully inspect the outer packaging before signing for your delivery. If the package appears visibly damaged, tampered with, or incomplete:

  • Refuse the delivery and ask the courier to return it to the sender, OR
  • Accept the package but sign as "Damaged" and immediately photograph the parcel and its contents
  • Contact us on the same day of delivery at support@ghartrend.com with photographs

Claims for damaged goods reported after 24 hours of delivery may not be accepted.


7. Failed Delivery

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to reasons attributable to the customer — including but not limited to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping address
  • Receiver unavailable at the time of delivery
  • Customer refusing to accept the package without valid reason

— the package will be returned to our warehouse. In such cases:

  • Prepaid orders will be refunded after deducting the forward and return shipping charges
  • COD orders that are refused at the door without valid reason may result in the customer's COD access being restricted for future orders
  • If you wish to have the order re-dispatched, fresh shipping charges will apply

Please ensure your delivery address and contact number are accurate at the time of placing the order. GharTrend is not responsible for non-delivery arising from incorrect address details provided by the customer.


8. Bank Holidays & Disruptions

We do not dispatch or deliver on national public holidays and bank holidays. Your order will be delivered on the next available working day. During high-demand periods such as festive seasons and sale events, delivery timelines may be slightly extended — we appreciate your patience and will keep you informed.


9. Undelivered & Lost Shipments

In the rare event that your order has not been delivered within 10 business days of the estimated delivery date:

  1. Check the tracking link sent to you via email/SMS
  2. If the tracking shows "delivered" but you have not received the order, contact us within 48 hours of the delivery date shown
  3. We will raise a formal investigation with the courier partner and resolve the issue within 5–7 business days
